This year was the 19th annual listing of Georgia’s top attorneys as chosen by their peers, and the designation was announced in the December 2021 issue of Georgia Trend magazine.

What is the Legal Elite award?
This unique and prestigious honor is reserved for attorneys who have been nominated by their peers as one of the best lawyers in the state. It signifies that the attorney has earned a top spot in their field.
When it comes to the nominations, fellow attorneys vote in 16 different categories of legal practice—from bankruptcy to immigration to personal injury litigation/workers’ comp.
The Legal Elite winners are chosen solely based on the lawyers’ votes; no votes or nominations are for sale. And of course, lawyers may not cast a vote for themselves.
To be eligible for this award, attorneys must live in and practice law in Georgia, as well as be active members of the State Bar of Georgia.
Each year, hundreds of attorneys are nominated, but only a select few make the cut.
