Powerhouse Workers’ Comp Law Firm Gerber & Holder Announces Name Change

Home » Blog » Powerhouse Workers’ Comp Law Firm Gerber & Holder Announces Name Change

Firm News · April 3, 2026

The firm, previously known as Gerber & Holder Workers’ Compensation Attorneys, has become Gerber & Elkins Workers’ Compensation Attorneys

Gerber & Holder Workers’ Compensation Attorneys, one of Atlanta’s leading work injury law firms, announced today that it has officially rebranded as Gerber & Elkins Workers’ Compensation Attorneys.

The name change reflects a significant leadership transition: partner Tom Holder is stepping back from daily practice to serve as Of Counsel, while Natalie Elkins assumes her place as a named partner in the firm.

The firm, which has exclusively represented injured workers in Georgia for decades, will operate under the new name, effective immediately. Its new website is www.gerberelkinslaw.com.

Before transitioning to an Of Counsel role, Tom Holder practiced workers’ compensation law in Georgia for more than 40 years, many of which were as a partner at Gerber & Holder. Throughout his legal career, he built a reputation as a skilled and tenacious advocate for injured workers across Georgia—a commitment that has defined his practice and shaped his contribution to the firm.

“This firm has always been about more than a name on the door,” said Tom Holder. “It’s about the people we fight for every day. I’m proud of what we’ve built together, and I have complete confidence in Ben and Natalie to carry this mission forward.”

Natalie Elkins has been an integral part of the firm’s growth and legal practice for years, earning recognition from clients and peers alike for her dedication to workers’ compensation advocacy. Her elevation to named partner formalizes a leadership role that she has long held in practice.

“I’ve dedicated my career to this work because I believe injured workers deserve a fighter in their corner,” said Natalie Elkins. “Being a named partner is an honor, but more than that, it’s a commitment—to our clients, to the work Tom championed, and to the next chapter of this firm.”

Managing partner Benjamin Gerber noted that the rebrand represents both continuity and evolution.

“Tom Holder brought something invaluable to this firm: decades of hard-won experience and an unwavering belief in the workers he represented,” said Gerber. “Natalie’s name on the door reflects what has already been true in practice—that this firm’s strength is its people. Our clients will notice nothing different except the name on our letterhead, and our commitment to them remains absolute.”

The attorneys at Gerber & Elkins bring over 100 years of combined workers’ compensation experience to their clients. The firm handles cases throughout Georgia, representing workers injured on the job in their claims against employers and insurance carriers.
