Jennifer leverages her experience with insurance companies to champion injured workers in compensation cases
Education
Jennifer Sammons attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate degrees. She subsequently graduated from Georgia State College of Law. While in law school, she served on the Mock Trial and Moot Court teams, competing in trial competitions and appellate arguments throughout the United States. She also served as a board member for the Public Interest Law Association’s annual auction, which dedicates its proceeds to funding scholarships for students working in unpaid public interest legal internships.
Career
Jennifer has practiced workers’ compensation law since 2010. She gained valuable experience representing employers and insurance companies for 12 years at several large insurance defense firms in Atlanta. In 2023, Jennifer decided to dedicate her practice to representing injured workers to help them secure benefits following a work accident. She uses her extensive knowledge of the insurance industry to zealously represent injured workers and secure favorable outcomes for her clients.
Memberships
Jennifer is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Georgia State Bar. She is also a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. Jennifer is admitted to practice in all state and superior courts in Georgia, as well as the Georgia Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.
Personal
Jennifer grew up in Savannah, Georgia, and has lived in Atlanta during much of her adult life. She lives in the Kirkwood neighborhood of Atlanta with her fiancé and adopted pets. She enjoys cooking, reading, and adventure travel.
